Pet Portraits with Elly Sumner

$159.00

Learn how to make a custom print of your favourite furry friend! In this hands-on class with local Walyalup (Fremantle) artist Elly Sumner. You’ll be guided to create your own portrait print from a photo or drawing, then apply it using a mini screen and repetitive pattern technique.

You’ll learn the art of stenciling and transferring a design to material, and then embellish your artwork with added details.

You’ll have time in this class to print a tote bag and a linen wall hanging/tea towel. You’ll also leave with the knowledge and confidence to work on more projects at home.
This class is for repetitive patterns.

You’ll be able to create 2-3 illustrations to repeat, this could be of one pet or more depending on how efficient you are at the illustration process. We'd suggest one pet in two different poses.

All tools, materials and morning tea will be provided. You may like to bring your own apron or use one of ours.
