$99.00
There are no tickets available for this workshop. Be among the first to know of new dates by joining our mailing list.

Join us for this fun and hands-on workshop crafting your own decorations from clay. Perfect to hang on your own Christmas tree or as a gift for your loved one, made with your very own hands.

You'll get the chance to work with local ceramicist Nirrimi, who 3D prints all of her own shapes and clay tools. Use Nirrimi's unique and whimsical 3D shape cutters as templates for your designs, and then add your own illustrations or patterns applied as an under glaze.

You'll make and under glaze at least 6 of your own decorations. Nirrimi will finish off your pieces in her home studio for you in time to gift for Christmas.

All tools, materials and light morning tea will be provided.

There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self. Participants are welcome to bring along their own aprons or borrow one of ours.

Important details

Your pieces will be finished and fired at Nirrimi's studio. Cost included in your ticket. Work will be available to collect one week after your workshop from the Stackwood store. You will be contacted when they are ready to pick up.

A huge amount of care is exercised when finishing off your precious hand-made items. Please note that clay is unpredictable and on rare occasions, items break in the kiln. This is all a natural part of the fun of perfecting your craft.

About Nirrimi

Nirrimi is a multidisciplinary creative (photography, ceramics, writing) based in Fremantle, WA. Nirrimi started working with clay to quiet her overthinking ADHD brain and reconnect with the playful way she created as a child. Obsessed with the endless possibilities of clay & glaze chemistry, all Nirrimi's pieces are handbuilt and made from scratch. Nirrimi even 3D models and prints her own cutters, stamps & clay tools.

Nirrimi runs the creative co-working studio Common Good Studio at Stackwood and has a ceramic jewellery brand called Weird Feelings.
