Philodendron 'Squamiferum'

The Philodendron Squamiferum is a vine plant that has stems covered in a red hair like fuzz and a distinctive leaf shape. This plant will grow into an impressive trailing plant or can be trained onto a trellis or coir pole.

Light

This plant will like a medium to high level of indoor, indirect sunlight. Direct sun may burn the leaves.

Water

Let this plant dry out between waterings. Feeling the soil approximately an inch and half deep to check the moisture level, if it is wet leave it a few more days, if it's dry give your plant a water. Make sure your plant pot has good drainage and is not sitting in any water.

Maintenance

Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to remove the dust that accumulates on the leaves to support photosynthesis, very dusty leaves can't absorb sunlight. Be careful, they are delicate!
