Peace Lily 'Spathiphyllum'

A Peace Lily can lend style to an indoor space without the fuss. A very popular indoor plant that has a strong upright growing habit and dark green, tough foliage with an attractive ribbed texture.

Light

This plant will love the indoors and can thrive in lower light, it's very fast growing and will give you plenty of clean white slightly fragrant flowers.

Water

Let this plant dry out a little between waterings, feeling the soil to check the moisture level, if the leaves droop it is a sign your plant is just past needing a drink.

Do not fret if your plant droops, Spathiphyllum are very forgiving and recover quickly if you water as soon as you notice drooping leaves. It produces large, well shaped, snowy white flowers.

To avoid brown tips, leave water out overnight to allow chlorine in the water to evaporate and water the soil but not the plant to avoid fungal and bacterial infections.

Maintenance

Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to remove the dust that accumulates on the leaves to support photosynthesis, very dusty leaves can't absorb sunlight.

Botanical name : Spathiphyllum 'Lauretta', 'High Five'
