Gift an experience this silly season

We love nothing more than some time out to craft, learn new skills and meet new people. Why not give that little slice of self-care to your loved ones this Christmas?

Gift an experience and book those special people into a Stackwood workshop. Workshops are sustainable and the perfect antidote to consuming too much this silly season. They are a great chance to slow down after a busy December, and a great gift for that person who has everything.

We've released a special series of workshops January through April, and they are online now.

We've got ceramics with everyone's fave Sarana Haeata, you can make Mugs, Vessels or even your own full Dinner Set with this popular Fremantle artist. These will be the final classes before Sarana heads off on a year long trip with her beautiful young family so they'll be sought after seats for sure!

You're loved ones can also learn how to make Pinch Pots with duo Nathan and Rachel from Kaki Studio who have recently returned to our program after having their first bub, they can Fabric Block Print their own linen cushions with Ruby Talbot-Dunn, weave practical and beautiful Vessels with Sian Boucherd and create nested hanging baskets for their plant friends with Wilding Studio.

Indoor plant classes are also back for those green thumbs out there, Claire Greenhill will teach all the basics in her Indoor Knowhow and Propagation classes, plus a brand new House Plant Masterclass which will kick participants off with everything a beginner needs to know to get started and maintain an indoor garden.

We've also got brand new workshops on Cottage Gardening and Growing Your Own Food with Casey from Pinch Dash Glug, and a workshop on Seasonal Bunches with our friends at Floral Army

All of our workshops are focused on teaching skills that can be easily replicated at home so attendees can keep making well after class time finishes. We love seeing the master pieces they create.

Classes include all the materials and handy instruction booklets to take home, plus morning or afternoon tea for longer classes (home made banana bread and treats by Lise Walsh, yes please!)
