Winter Workshops Release
The weather’s already cooling down and we’re looking ahead to the chill of winter, when we need a little extra motivation to leave the comfort of our warm homes.
Our seasonal workshops are held in our beautiful Stackwood hall and are a great opportunity to meet new people and practice presence while learning a new skill. Plus you'll have a lovely hand-made object to take home with you at the end of the day.
In our winter workshops release we have the popular Kurinuki with Naomi from Do° Pottery, Mounted Elkhorns with Claire Greenhill, and more dates for Spoon Carving with Julian from Little Bear Sloyd.
We’re excited to welcome artist and ceramicist Joana Partyka to the Stackwood workshop schedule. Joana will teach a combination of clay hand-building techniques like coiling and slab building in her Vases and Vessels workshop.
Give a favourite item of clothing new life by learning to mend holes and weak spots in Visible Mending with Gabriel from Stitch Hour, or create a Nested Hanging Basket with Wilding Studio. Brush up on your gardening skills with Propagation Knowhow or how to Grow Your Own Food with Casey from Pinch Dash Glug. There’s also the House Plant Masterclass to take your indoor plant game to the next level.
Popular instructor and fibre artist Sian Boucherd is back with Woven Vessels, and we have the wonderful Nora from Let Prove running her second Plant-Based Table workshop.
With 20+ classes to choose from, you'll have trouble picking just one! All of our workshops are designed to teach you skills you can easily continue at home, so you can keep on crafting or even share the knowledge with a friend.
