Woven weeds with Siân Boucherd
In an exploration of locally-sourced fibres, learn how to forage for and responsibly remove problem plants. Fibre artist Siân Boucherd will teach you how to apply various basketry techniques to create your own unique hanging basket using pre-dried, prepared and collected weeds.
Weaving is a wonderfully meditative practice that allows you to unplug, slow down and craft something unique. No prior skills required but if you are good with your hands and want to learn some new tricks, this workshop is perfect for you.
All tools, materials and morning tea will be provided.
