Hexagon Blankets with Tash Jones
Knit your own vintage inspired hexagon blanket by taking a traditional patchwork idea and translating it to knitting. Over two weekends you will complete a fun and colourful blanket knitted in a merino/cashmere yarn, locally hand dyed by Fishermans Rib.
You will learn how to create your ‘moss stitch’ hexagon and then how to join them. The process will take you on a joyful journey, creating your very own family heirloom that will be cherished by many.
To participate in this workshop you need to have basic knitting skills - cast on, cast off, plain stitch (commonly know as knit stitch) and purl stitch.
Please bring 4mm circular needles or purchase on the day for approx $14.All other tools, materials and morning tea will be provided.
