Danielle Matthews is an environmental scientist with a crafty side. Originally from Geraldton, she learned hand embroidery when she was 10 years old and first used a sewing machine when she was 12.
Danielle started her hobby sewing business, Ruby Sew Oh, in late 2012 after becoming a mum. Now focused on creating embroidery hoop art, Danielle uses modern printed fabrics in much of her work. She enjoys passing on her knowledge to others so that they may also reap the benefits of the 'slow craft movement'.
