Join Anna Macoboy of Wilding Studio and learn the contemporary technique of random weaving to create your own generous fruit bowl.

Using natural rattan cane in your choice of colour, you'll be able to shape your basket to your preferred size and design.

You'll then add foraged natural elements to build upon your base structure until you finish with a beautiful strong, sculptural basket. 

All tools, materials and morning tea will be provided in this fun, hands-on workshop.

About Anna

Anna Macoboy is a multi-disciplinary creative with a passion for plants. She has studied botany and worked with indoor plants for over a decade. She also practices random weaving, floristry and other art practices that explore the connection between design and nature and the concept of wabi-sabi. Anna is a co-owner of Stackwood and spends most of her days taking care of the plants here or sharing her knowledge through plant-based workshops. She has taught workshops in a range of topics at dozens of locations in Australia and the USA, including the New York Botanical Garden, Chelsea Garden Center and the Japan Society of New York.s.
