Revisit the Loom with Phoebe Phillips from Sunday Weaves
Join us in the warehouse 'indoor garden' for a relaxed morning of weaving with Pheobe Phillips from Sunday Weaves.
You will get the chance to revisit your work on the loom, solidify the weaving process in your mind and nail down those difficult techniques. Get help to move forward with a tricky design, get pointers whilst you work or just to enjoy the company of others whilst you finish up your creations (just in time for Christmas!)
Designed for participants who have participated in a Sunday Weaves class before and who have their own handlooms. Suitable for those with a beginner level understanding who want to expand their knowledge, as well as those who have been weaving for years.
If you have purchased a Sunday Weaves loom from the Stackwood store and have self-taught you are welcome to come along, please just let us know this when you book.
You will need to bring your own materials and hand loom.
Refreshments will be available to purchase from Stacked Cafe on the morning.
Dates and times:
Saturday 1st of December, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Phoebe Phillips was introduced to weaving by her mother who led a women’s craft group. She loves the meditative quality of weaving. She fits her craft practice around training to be a yoga teacher and working in a gallery.
Sunday Weaves is her idea of a perfect Sunday; it’s a space where she can slow down, drink good coffee, have a great conversation and immerse herself in a creative project.
