House Plant Masterclass with Claire Greenhill
Join plant guru Claire Greenhill for this house plant masterclass. It'll kick you off with everything a beginner needs to know to get started and maintain an indoor garden.
This small hands-on session will cover the basics of indoor plant care such as light, water and position, basically everything you need to know to keep your green friends healthy and happy. You'll also learn when and how to feed your plants, about soil composition and how to troubleshoot common pests and other health complaints.
You will get the chance to pot and repot a plant, a process new gardeners are often nervous about. You'll get to take home your plant in Mr Kitly 17cm Self Watering pot of your colour choice - 100% recycled, BPA free and designed in Melbourne. Colour dependant on availability.
Claire will also take you through a propagation activity where you will get to cut and propagate several varieties of plant using the tip, layering and division methods, in both water and soil. You'll be able to take these home and try your hand at growing them from scratch. Propagation is a great way to grow your garden at little to no cost. Exactly which methods we use will be dependant on seasonal plant availability.
To finish up you'll get to make your own pest spray to use broadly in plant care routine and get rid of those nasty bugs that sometimes compromise the health of our plant families.
There will be plenty of time for your own plant questions in this session.
Sign up for an intimate afternoon with Claire and send your plant confidence sky high!
All tools, materials and afternoon tea will be provided.
If you've attended Indoor Plant Knowhow, Propagation or Plant Doctor, some course content may be repeated. This class is much more comprehensive, hands-on and personal however with lots of time to learn from Claire.
