Photograph your Art with Bo Wong

Join Bo Wong for an intimate session on how best to photograph your artworks for grants, websites, exhibition applications and social media.

Bo is a highly regarded photographer who shoots for numerous individual artists and arts organisations including the Art Gallery of Western Australia and Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts. Learn from her professional techniques, tips and tricks to capture your work in the right light whether your practice be painting, sculpture, textile, glass or multi-disciplinary.

You'll leave with:

  • Hands-on experience photographing with our instructor Bo Wong.
  • The skills to be able to photograph your own artwork with your own gear.
  • Information on best practice for lighting, composition and setting up for photos at home.

Bring along your own camera or smartphone and and one indicative example of your artwork to photograph on the day. All other tools, materials and light morning/afternoon tea will be provided.

There are no previous skills required but this workshop is for artists, so some visual literacy will be assumed.
