Established in 1934 in a small town in Japan, Kontex have been designing and producing original textiles using old traditional looms and weaving techniques. Kontex produce towels that are well-known for their natural softness, superior absorbency and lightness. All textiles are strictly woven from cotton and linen that's been cleaned with water from Mt. Ishizuchi with low mineral content. As a result their range of towels are incredibly absorbent, fast drying, durable, and environmentally friendly – an ideal addition to your bathroom or kitchen.

The Yawakaru Gauze cloths are made from multi-layers of subtly textured cotton gauze. The absorbency and compact size of these pieces makes them perfect for daily use around the home, or for travelling.

Material: 100% cotton gauze

Colour: x1 white, x1 beige.

Care: Machine wash with cold water and mild detergent. No bleach or fabric softeners. Hang or tumble dry low.

Delivery, postage and pick up

You can choose at checkout whether you would like your items delivered, posted or made available for pick up. Please note we cannot post plants – these need to be picked up or delivered.

If you place an order but don't need it right away please specify a delivery or pick up date in the 'special instructions' at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate.  

Delivery
We deliver locally within 25km of our Fremantle warehouse on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Order cut-off or same-day delivery (Tues, Wed, Fri) is 11am.

Postage
We pack all orders for postage the next business day and you'll be notified when they are on their way. We cannot guarantee a delivery date but we will always get your order to you as soon as possible.

Pick up
All orders for pick up will be made available to collect on the same day if ordered before 11am, or the following day if ordered after 11am. Pickups can be made during store hours.
