Refresh Your Headshot with Bo Wong

Haven’t had a headshot taken in years? Perhaps you’ve been reluctant to step in front of the camera at all? Let us make it simple and book a headshot session with much-loved photographer and Stackwood School facilitator Bo Wong.

We are saying no to self-conscious and stuffy shoots. This will be 20 minutes of quality time spent in the light and plant filled Stackwood creative space, with our down-to-earth team. The session is designed to be low pressure and to make you feel comfortable being in front of the camera. All you need to do is bring your most authentic self, we are here to celebrate just that. Goodbye self critic!

We’ll pre-style three different scenes within the beautiful Stackwood space of which you’ll be able to choose one or all to work with. We’ll get some long shots, some closer up and cycle between some seated and standing positions to represent you and/or your brand.

You'll also be able to choose from a selection of props from the Stackwood Store to express your personality.

You’ll come out with a gallery of at least 7+ edited, high resolution photographs of you in Bo Wong’s signature style, delivered 2 weeks after the shoot.

When should I arrive? Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your shoot to settle in with us and have a cup of tea.

What do I wear? Something that makes you feel confident. The better you feel the more natural you will come across on camera. If these photographs are for your socials we'd recommend thinking about your branding, colour tones and wearing something a little more casual. If it's for your linkedin, website or for something more corporate we suggest tailoring your outfit/hair/make-up towards this. In general please stray away from using anything that has logos, stripes that are close together as they can tend to pull focus away from you.

Should I bring some changes of clothing? You could bring 1-2 changes of clothing to alternate between settings, although our time with you is limited so it’s best to keep this simple.

I have a business partner or team, can I book one session? We suggest booking one session after another in this case as then we’ll have enough time to shoot you together and separately. For 2+ people please email us at to check in prior to booking.

How will I receive my images? You’ll receive an email with a link to your full gallery of high resolution jpeg images within 2 weeks of our shoot. You’ll be able to download all of your favourites.

Do I need to bring anything? Just bring your authentic you. If you've a favourite notebook or an object that represents you, your brand or work you could bring this too. If you are artist or maker you may like to bring a small selection of work but this will not be our main focus of the shoot.

How private is the shoot? You'll be our sole focus during your time with us. Your photo will be taken within the dynamic Stackwood workshops space, which is semi-private. There could be 2-3 people in shoot with you and artists working in studios downstairs. The cafe will be on site for you as well should you like a coffee or tea before or after your shoot. Please factor in time for this when arriving.

Can I have my photos retouched? All images are professionally edited but this package does not include extensive retouching such as removing blemishes or ironing out t-shirts etc.
