In this intimate workshop you'll learn about the benefits of bookkeeping, budgeting, saving for tax and you'll also consider broader topics such as: how do I pay myself? 

This workshop is designed to help you build confidence around your accounting literacy, give you a template for making informed decisions and help you achieve your business goals. 

This class is relevant for both small businesses, sole traders and those just starting up. 

You'll leave with:

  • A mini budget so you know where your money goes.
  • The ability to calculate your profits.
  • A simple strategy to save for tax.
  • An understanding of GST.
  • An understanding of what a business deduction is.
  • Understand what a profit and loss report means to your business and what to look out for in the report.

You'll also receive a Stackwood-branded moleskin notebook to continue your learnings at home.

All tools, materials and light morning tea will be provided. There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.

About Vicky

Vicky is a Chartered Accountant with over 15 years’ experience in public practice, she also heads up Glide Accounting.  She loves numbers and processes, working alongside small business owners and creatives to provide them with personalised accounting and tax advice. She is passionate about simplifying tax time and helping people understand their own business finances. Vicky also shares her knowledge by educating the next generation of accountants and financial leaders in her role as a University tutor.

If you are unable to attend your class due to illness or need to isolate, please provide as much notice as possible. We can move you to another class date or issue a credit voucher.
