Make your own cushion covers in a bold and completely unique design. In this workshop, local textile designer Ruby will teach you how to carve printing blocks and use them to transfer your designs onto material.

Exploring colour, pattern, layering and composition this workshop will be a fun introduction into the endless possibilities of textile block printing. 

You will leave with a set of two printed linen cushions which retail for $60 each, as well as the knowledge and confidence to work on more projects at home!

All tools, materials and morning tea will be provided. You may like to bring your own apron or use one of ours. 

About Ruby

Ruby Talbot-Dunn is a textile designer who grew up in Fremantle, Western Australia spending most of her childhood down at the beach and watching the sunset over the Indian Ocean. 

Ruby has a BA Textile Design Degree, won the Designers Choice award from the Country Road Industry project, and has worked for industry partners such as Dryen, Country Road, Linen House, Ladelle. You may recognise her playful prints and colourful designs from local brand La Paleta.

Please note this class requires a minimum of 4 attendees in order to run. All workshop ticket sales are final. If you are unable to attend your class due to illness or need to isolate, please provide as much notice as possible. We can move you to another class date or issue a credit voucher.
