Baby Tears have mass of tiny leaves forming a dense, lush mat of foliage. They look incredible when falling from a hanging basket or terarrium.
Grow baby's tears in moist, well-drained soil, keeping it out of direct sunlight. As a potted plant, baby's tears is very easy to grow in a standard potting mix. Baby's tears plants are thirsty and they never like to dry out. If your plants do dry out, you'll notice a dramatic wilting take place. Water them quickly, and within a day they should recover. Baby's tears houseplants will require slightly less water in the winter months. It's fine for the soil's surface to be dry, but the soil around the roots should feel slightly moist.
Botanical name: Baby Tears 'soleirolia'
This plant comes in a standard 150mm diameter hanging plastic pot.
