An afternoon with Maryanne Moodie

$69.00

Join us in the warehouse for an intimate afternoon with prolific fibre-centric artist, Maryanne Moodie

Maryanne divides her time working between Melbourne and Brooklyn, NY and is in Perth for one very special weekend of weaving. We couldn't resist the opportunity to sit her down and chat all things craft, design, and business.

Maryanne does it all from designing and creating woven wall hangings, developing weaving kits, and teaching sold-out workshops across the world. She has built what is arguably one of the biggest craft followings globally, whilst raising small children and moving continents.

Facilitated by Stackwood's own weave teacher Phoebe from Sunday Weaves, we'll have an intimate afternoon of chat to find out how this accomplished maker and busy mother-of-two has ditched perfectionism and has embraced fluidity and flexibility.

This talk will be 60 minutes long, followed by a short Q & A.

This is the first time Maryanne has shared her craft in Perth for a special collab with Stackwood.

* Maryanne has a series of workshops on in the warehouse during the weekend for all levels. You can get your tickets for these here
