A Plant-Based Table with Nora from Let Prove
Like good bread, life is sweeter when given time. Let Prove wholeheartedly believe in a life that is slow. They believe that taking the time to create honest food, is the single most moving and rewarding act of kindness when shared with those around you.
Join Nora from Let Prove to slow down, and share in an afternoon of cooking and conversation. Nora will be showing you how to cook her favourite plant-based meals that can be enjoyed by others; your family, friends and neighbours.
Nora will cover cupboard essentials, creating a varied menu consisting of shareable plates and simple accompaniments using local and seasonal produce.
The menu will be based on the season you book in, but you can think grilled seasonal veggies, creamy nut-free accompaniments, quick and easy flatbreads from scratch, indulgent smashed potatoes with vibrant quick pickles, crunchy fresh herby salads plus some simple but popular desserts that finish off an evening to perfection.
We'll end in a long table lunch celebrating the new recipes you have in your arsenal, all included in your workshop ticket. Yum!
It'll be an intimate day with only 10 spaces available. This class will be seminar-style, with some involvement from participants rather than a traditional cooking class.
This class is for food lovers, anyone who hasn't been sure what to cook for their plant-based guests or those who have been thinking of making the plunge but haven't wanted to give up comfort.
Perfect for those just starting out or looking to build on their plant-based culinary skills.
You'll also get to take home your own riso printed recipe notebook - made by Nora in her bread and butter business Neighbourhood Press!
All tools, materials and a wholesome lunch will be provided.

About Let Prove:
Let Prove is a side project by Scott and Nora, life partners at home and business at Neighbourhood Press. Let Prove is a space they’ve created for their passion for food, aiming to share recipes and stories that inspire, foster community and whet your appetite for conversation.
Their love of food began when they became a pair. When sharing food they discussed their experiences, memories from childhood and each conversation was accompanied by sated sounds of content tummies.
Over the dinner table they reached an undeniable truth; that we can all make choices when it comes to food. Scott and Nora chose from this moment to live more intently, trying to understand wisdom from the past and how to lovingly prepare a meal for the collective health and happiness of our world - a vegetarian one. Now they'd like to share that with others!
