Ceramic Bowls and Spoons with Lucy from Not Yet Perfect
Learn to hand build your very own bowls and spoons with artist Lucy from Not Yet Perfect in this brand new one-day pottery session.
Join Lucy under the Stackwood roof for a day of creative play, trying your hand at the beautiful art of pottery.
Workshops are a chance to relax, unwind, meet other like-minded people, and make pieces to love, use and treasure for years to come.
There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.
All works will be glazed and fired for you with a white glaze (Lucy's signature). This is included in the cost of your class. All works will be available within 4 weeks of the class date from the Stackwood store (during store hours). You will be contacted when they are ready to pick up.
How many pieces you make is up to you, we would encourage you to make 2 - 4 bowls in this class and spoons to go with them.
All tools, materials and light morning tea will be provided.
Participants are welcome to bring along their own aprons or borrow one of ours. This class gets messy!
Please wear comfortable clothes, short nails if possible and remove all valuable jewelry.
Date and times
Lucy started pottery after leaving the fashion industry to pursue her love for working with at-risk-youth. She found working with ceramics a sanctuary where she could find some peace amidst daily challenges.
Not Yet Perfect was created as a space to find peace and freedom through craft and making. It has also been a way for Lucy to cultivate creative community and connect individuals who may also be on a similar journey.
