Embroider your own home with Lindsay Stitches

Join Lindsay Stitches to turn your home, workplace or a a local Walyalup/Fremantle or Boorloo/Perth building into a stitched art piece.

In this workshop you'll sketch your design, create a sampler of different stitch techniques and start on a project of your own.

This could be an idea that you've already pre-prepared or something you can concept along with Lindsay during the session.

This is a class for everyone and is very achievable - if you are feeling undecided or unsure of your skill level, Lindsay will also have pre-prepared a number of templates of her favourite local places.

Each participant will receive an embroidery kit including everything you need to keep going with your new hobby at home.

All tools, materials and light morning tea will be provided. There are no previous skills required, simply bring your authentic self.

This workshop is to create an art piece, however you are welcome to bring along a t-shirt, jacket, tote bag or item of your choice to embroider onto. If you would like to bring your own item to work with, please ensure it's a sturdy fabric like denim or linen, anything with stretch is not for beginners.

  • Time in our warehouse with an incredible local artist
  • Embroidery kit including needles, yarn, a practice piece to work on and 120mm hoop
  • The beginnings of an art piece
  • The skills to continue 'your home' at home
  • Coffee and cake from our cafe to enjoy while you work
