Grow Your Own Food with Casey from Pinch Dash Glug
There's nothing more satisfying than growing your own produce. The garden offers us all a way to slow down, reengage with the natural world and find a deeper appreciation for some of life’s simplest pleasures; eating a fresh tomato straight off the vine, watching insects flit from plant to plant and making a meal for friends that you have grown yourself.
To take you from garden to table, Casey from Pinch Dash Glug will share with you the beauty of growing your own food. This class will cover topics like preparing your soil, selecting the right plants for the season, growing from seed, how to layout your vege garden and, of course, troubleshooting for when things may not go to plan.
Casey takes a spray-free, organic approach to gardening to help increase insect and bird diversity, and protect native fauna. Through her work she hopes to help others gain confidence in their own garden, to turn their backyards into edible, blooming and bug- and bird-friendly spaces.
Enjoy 10% off plants at the concept store on the day of your workshop.
