Crocodile Fern

This Fern is a real show stopper with long and broad leaves featuring a very attractive mosaic pattern with veins in black and mid to dark green. This plant looks beautiful in a pot, hanging basket and can also go well in craggy tree trunks where they can grab a hold in cracks and crevices, especially at branch forks.

Crocodile ferns grow best in bright indirect light. Ensure they are kept moist, especially in hot weather, but reduce watering over winter. A foliar spray of dilute fertiliser formulated for ferns during the growing season and a sustained release application once a year.

These are true jungle plants. Keep their compost moist, but don't let the plant become soggy. Also, avoid watering right into the "nest" as that encourages mold and rot. Water the soil rather than the plant.

We deliver within 25km of our Fremantle warehouse Monday to Friday. All orders for local delivery or pick up will be made available or will arrive on the same day if ordered before 11am. Pickups can be made during store hours.

If you don't want your order right away please specify a delivery or pick up date in the 'special instructions' when you check out.

We pack all orders for post on the next business day and you'll be notified when it's on the way, we cannot guarantee a delivery date but we will always get your order to you as soon as possible.
