Coin Leaf 'Peperomia'

The Coin-leaf Peperomia is a compact plant well suited for life as a house plant. It's easy care and has beautiful heart-shaped, succulent foliage. This plant will remain desktop-sized, growing wide, rather than tall.

Light

This is a hardy plant if you place it in the right spot. Place this plant near a window with bright light. However, avoid direct afternoon sunlight, which may burn the leaves.

Water

To care for this plant let the top layer of soil dry out in between waterings and water the soil not the plant to avoid fungal infections.

It’s easy to overwater these plants if you’ve never cared for peperomia plants before. The stems and leaves store water, which allows the plant to go longer without water.

Pay attention to the soil and do not water if any moisture remains.

Maintenance

Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth occasionally to remove the dust that accumulates on the leaves to support photosynthesis, very dusty leaves can't absorb sunlight.

Botanical name: Peperomia polybotrya
