Makuru Workshops

You will have to get in quick for these new workshops by none other than Maggie Johnson aka Magg Daddy! If you have ever wanted to carry your furry friends portrait with you wherever you go then Pet Portraits with Maggie Johnson will not disappoint. Maggie has also released dates for teaching the essential's of Screen Printing to bring out your inner designer.

We have new dates for the popular Kurinuki with Naomi from Do° Pottery and the sell out Tiny Houses with Sally Smith from Deep Earth Ceramics. Fibre artist Siân Boucherd is back with woven vessels and woven weeds, and the Floral Army ladies will be back in August for another session of seasonal bouquet making!

Our very own Anna Macoboy will be taking her fun nested baskets class, and will be teaching a number of other planty workshops – look out for new plant parenting and mounted elkhorns dates!

We've also worked with the wonderful Casey Joy who will share with you the beauty of growing your own food. This class will cover topics like preparing your soil, selecting the right plants for the season, growing from seed, how to layout your vege garden and, of course, troubleshooting for when things may not go to plan....all for only $15!

Our workshops are held in our beautiful Stackwood Hall and are a great opportunity to meet new people and practice presence while learning a new skill. Plus you'll have a lovely hand-made object to take home with you at the end of the day.

With 20+ classes to choose from, you'll have trouble picking just one! All of our workshops are designed to teach you skills you can easily continue at home, so you can keep on crafting or even share the knowledge with a friend. Our workshops always fill up quickly, so book fast to avoid disappointment.
